The book written by Matthew Field features lots of original photography from behind the scenes of the filming and features the cars used in the film.

I designed the look and feel for the book and commissioned illustrations of the minis for the cover and endpapers along with maps showing the main locations in Turin used for the filming.

The artwork was designed to work as a suite that would advertise courses across social media platforms. Part of the brief was for the graphics to appeal to creative professionals, to be eye catching and to have the capability to be animated in the future.

Author Steve Saxty uses his industry knowledge and contacts to tell the back story of Ford production cars and many that never made it any further than a design sketch or model.

This was an exciting brief from Quarto Publishing to design a vibrant book exploring the stories behind different colours. Key to the project was the commissioning of eye catching illustrations explaining the history of colours such as ‘Inca Gold’.

I’m so pleased that I chose Marc-Etienne Pierre to illustrate the pages as he did a fantastic job of making the artwork beautiful as well as being informative and historically accurate.

Creative direction and production for the launch film of a new Paul Stephens Porsche build. The Le Mans Classic Clubsport is a limited edition car made to and exacting standard to celebrate the Le Mans Classic event.

A short film was needed to launch the car at Le Mans Classic where it would feature on the large screens around the circuit at the event. In collaboration with Pretzel Films it was decided that a studio environment would showcase the car best, especially the unique green details incorporated into the design.

Alex Lawrence was also on hand at Calvert studios to advise on lighting and to capture these great stills.

Influx requested a short film to celebrate 40 Years of the Mazda RX7 sports car. After researching 'Jumping Jeff Williamson' and his Group 2 rally car it was clear that they should be the focus of the creative.

The Wankel rotary engine is the real point of difference for Jeff’s superb rally car, so I worked with The Toms to emphasise the unique sights and sounds of the car at speed in the moving content. In addition to the film direction there was a requirement to commission supporting photography 250 word written piece for the Influx website.
